Coastal FCU Goes with New Fraud Management Vendor
The $2 billion Coastal Federal Credit Union in Raleigh, N.C., has committed to using an automated investigation management solution from Aithent Inc. of New York City.

The Aithent Fraud Manager helps gather, organize and analyze information about suspected fraud or other financial crimes, and also helps prepare and file Suspicious Activity Reports required by FinCEN at the Treasury Department.

Aithent Inc. has introduced an on-demand version of its case management solution for complying with Bank Security Act and anti-money laundering rules.

Aithen SAR Manager is being offered as a SaaS solution at $100 a month, or $1,000 for year, regardless of the number of suspicious activity reports filed with FinCEN, the New York City-based company said.

Dade County FCU Deploys Anti-Fraud Tools
A Web-based case management solution is now being used by Dade County Federal Credit Union to help the $480 million institution do its part in the fight against financial crime in Miami.

DCFCU is using the Aithent Case Management Solution to link all its fraud and compliance processes across its internal systems, enhancing both case management and the ability to produce compliant regulatory reports, the credit union said.

The credit union said benefits include easy access to information, reducing the need for redundant data entry and easing the burden on IT staff.

Aithent is a New York-based provider of information management solutions to financial, government and health care organizations.
